Monitoring Program
To develop the monitoring program the area was zoned in 4 parrts that included the country mango producers located in the Guayas and the Los Rios province.

It is considered that exist 10.000 Has of mango cultivation approximately for exporting of which 9400 Has. are located in the Guayas province.
Mango Crop Areas
The mango is cultivated mainly in the province of Guayas, with an approximate surface of about 7700 it has registered in full production inside the union, and of those which, 6500 approximately are dedicated to export.

The remaining ones, are devoted to other markets, (local, Andean pact) or to the elaboration of juices and concentrated of mango.

"Slice & Scoop" Mango Cutting Method
Stand the mango on your cutting board stem end down and hold. Place your knife about 1/4" from the widest center line and cut down through the mango.
